Awards
At the end of every the term, multiple members are given awards based on how active they've been in Key Club throughout the year. There are 4 different types of awards, bronze, silver, gold, and platinum, and the award given to each member is determined by a part of the MRF known as the Member Recognition Program (MRP). The MRP uses the amount of total hours a member has gotten throughout through the year and 13 categories to determine which level of award is given. To get an award on the division/district level you must qualify for one by January 5th, and to get one on the club level you must qualify by March 31st!
Requirements
BronzeBronze is the lowest tier award one could receive from the MRP. The requirements for Bronze is to have a minimum of 50 hours on the Service Record and to qualify for at least 5 out of the 13 categories on the bronze level or higher.
|
SilverSilver is the third highest tier award of the MRP. To get this award one must have a minimum of 100 hours on the Service Record and qualify for at least 6 out of the 13 categories on the silver level or higher.
|
GoldGold is the second highest tier award a member could be awarded from the MRP. The requirements to receive a Gold award is a member must have at least 150 hours on the Service Record and qualify for 9 out of the 13 categories on the gold level or higher.

Categories
The MRP has 13 categories that determine if a person qualifies an award or not. For each category, there is a different requirement for each award to get. For example, one of the categories is the number of interclub events a member has gone to and to qualify for bronze you must go to 3 interclubs, for silver you must go to 4, for gold you must go to 5, and for platinum you must go to 6. Also, even if you qualify for enough categories, you won't be given an award if you don't meet the hour requirement!
